HSE Girls Track Opens Season Indoors at Anderson

The Lady Royals Track team competed indoors on Saturday at Anderson University. The meet was hosted by HSE and was a qualifier for the HSR Indoor State Finals on March 28. The 4x200 relay team of Cianna Cunningham, Chloe Senefeld, Kaleah McCarter, and Anissa Lammie ran the second fastest time in school history and the current fastest time in the state at 1:41.79. The 4x400 relay team of McCarter, Senefeld, Ava Kashani, and Lammie ran the 3rd fastest time in school history and the fastest time in the state at 3:55.39. Riley Williams was victorious in the pole vault clearing 11' 0" which puts her in the top 5 in the state. Zoe Gebhart was second in the 3200 run with a time of 11:34.23 which puts her in the top 20 in the state. The 4x800 relay team of Evie Patch, Reagan Hissong, Kate Lux, and Kherington Patton placed second in a time of 10:10.16 which is in the top 20 in state. The Royals went 3-4-5 in the 60 dash with Kaleah McCarter, Laila Ehrgott, and Cianna Cunningham. Chloe Senefeld was also 3rd in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.67 which puts her in the top 20 in the state and the top 10 all time. The team heads to Brownsburg on Wednesday for the HCC Indoor Meet which is another HSR Qualifier. Full Results and Splits are attached below.
