Royals Roll Past North Central in First Outdoor Meet of the Season

Hamilton Southeastern opened the 2026 outdoor season in dominant fashion on March 25, defeating North Central 123-14 in an impressive all-around team performance. The Royals showed depth across every event area, piling up points in the sprints, distance races, hurdles, relays, jumps, and throws. HSE claimed multiple event wins and swept the top three spots in several events to set the tone for the outdoor season right away. Hamilton Southeastern swept the top three spots in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 300 hurdles, 3200 meters, and long jump, showing early-season depth and balance across the lineup. Jaxson Wanza picked up double wins in the 200 and 400, Sam Long swept both hurdle races, Shawn Campbell won the 100 and long jump, and KJ Mallett took first in both the shot put and discus.
