The varsity softball team defeated Zionsville, 14-1, earning their first conference win! Grace Swedarsky struck out 16 batters, only giving up two hits and one run over six innings. Natavia Wright pitched one inning in relief, striking out two batters, giving up no hits and walking none. K. McCarter went 5-5 with 2 triples, a double, and 2 singles. J. McCarter had 2 singles and a solo homerun. B. Fritsche, A. Richmond, and L. Palmer each had two hits. T. Bricker had a double and M. Burlingame had a triple. The Royals take on New Palestine on Thursday, April 16th.
