The Lady Royals Track Team scored 101 points at the Charlie Riley Invite to earn second place behind Brownsburg with 143 and just ahead of North Central with 99. Chloe Senefeld broke her own school record from last season in the 300 hurdles running a blazing 42.51 second race where she was nearly 3 seconds ahead of the next competitor. The time was also a meet record and state leading time. While that was the only individual event win for the Royals, they did sweep victory in all 3 relays. The 4x800 team of Evelyn Gerig, Anissa Lammie, Zoe Gebhart, and Anna Irish ran 9:41.40 for the win. The 4x100 team of Kaleah McCarter, Senefeld, Laila Ehrgott, and Lammie ran a season's best of 48.43. The 4x400 relay team of Cianna Cunningham, Lammie, McCarter, and Senefeld ended the night in fashion with a meet record and state leading time of 3:50.60. The Royals had many outstanding runner-up finishes as well. Kaleah McCarter was runner up in the 100 with a personal best of 12.56 seconds. Evie Patch was runner up in the 800 with a personal best of 2:21.78. Zoe Gebhart was runner up in the 3200 with a personal best of 11:06.39. The team hosts Cathedral and Eastern Hancock for senior night on Tuesday. https://live.timingmd.net/meets/70119 HSE results are attached below.
