The Lady Royals Track team came up just 2 points short of winning the HCC title last night at Avon. Brownsburg came in as the heavy favorite and scored 106 points to HSE's 104 points. Event winners are named All-Conference and HSE brought home many All-Conference Medals. Anissa Lammie won the 400, Chloe Senefeld won the 300 Hurdles in a meet record time, and Zoe Gebhart won the 3200. Two of the 3 relays were also victorious. The 4x100 of Cianna Cunningham, Senefeld, Laila Ehrgott, and Kaleah McCarter as well as the 4x400 of McCarter, Lammie, Evelyn Gerig, and Senefeld. Other athletes that scored points were Riley Williams 2nd in the pole vault; Micaiah Bullock 3rd in the long jump and 4th in the 100 hurdles; McCarter 4th in the 100 and 7th in the long jump; Cunningham 7th in the 100 and 4th in the 200; Senefeld 5th in the 100 hurdles; Evie Patch 5th in the 800; Ava Kashani 5th in the 400; and Eleanor Henry 6th in the pole vault. The 4x800 relay team of Gebhart, Lammie, Gerig and Anna Irish was 3rd to start the meet. The team competes in the Hamilton County Meet at Carmel next week. Full results are attached below.
