The varsity softball team defeated Fishers in the first round of sectionals 12-0. Grace Swedarsky was the winning pitcher with 4K in 5 innings. Kaleah McCarter came in to wrap up the 6th inning with 2K. The Royals had a total of 13 hits for the night. K. McCarter led offensively with 3 singles and triple. J. McCarter had 2 singles and a double. S. Feher had a single and a triple, earning 4 RBIs. L. Palmer went 2-4 at the plate. They take on the Millers on Tuesday, May 26, at 7:30pm.
