Hamilton Southeastern junior Anissa Lammie has been selected by the HCC girls track coaches as the Athlete of the Year. At the HCC Championship Meet, Lammie won the 400 meters for the 3rd time and was a part of the 4 X 400 meter Relay championship team for the 2nd time. At the IHSAA State Meet, Anissa won the 400 meters and was a member of the championship 4 X 400 meter relay team. Lammie finished 2nd in the 400 meters as a sophomore. Head Coach Julie Albano says, “Anissa has worked hard this season after an injury indoors. Outdoors she continued to improve and once the tournament began, she was in top form. Running personal bests in the 4 X 800, 400 and 4 X 400. Anissa is a great teammate and enjoys running relays." Congratulations, Anissa!
