HSE at Mt. Vernon Marauders  August 20 The Royals broke onto the scoreboard first when Levi Rifner (4) scored off a corner kick that was deflected multiple times in the box.  1-0 Royals at the half.  The Royals extended their lead about 14:00 into the second half when Isaac Ferguson (40) took a shot from the right edge of the box and the Marauders keeper couldn’t handle the rebound and it went right back to Ferguson where he passed across the box to an open Teddy Silver (5) who buried it in the back of the net to put the Royals up 2-0.  The Marauders got on the board with 5:00 left in the game when they chipped one over the head of the HSE net minder Mayson Osborne.  The Marauders put on a lot of pressure in the final few minutes but they came up short and the Royals walked away with the 2-1 victory.  The Royals head to Guerin Catholic on Saturday, 8/22 for their next game.
