The Golden Eagles came out very aggressively in the first but the Royals were able to hold them off and played to a 0-0 tie at the half. The JV Royals came with more spirit in the second half and applied the pressure quickly. About 14:00 into the half the ball went deep into the Guerin keeper box and was quickly passed back out to Keygan Robinson (25) who buried it past the keeper to put the Royals up 1-0. About 5:00 later, Logan Adams (30) added another one when he took a breakaway to the top of the box, took a quick shot, played the rebound around the net minder and put it in the net! 2-0 Royals! With a minute and a half left in the game, the Royals added an insurance goal when Jake Tedford (38) brought the ball down to the right side of the box and passed it back across the box to an open Gavin Miller (28) who changed directions and rocketed one past the goalie to put the Royals up 3-0. Final score 3-0. The 3-0 JV Royals have a few days off the rest and then take their game back on the road to Brownsburg on Tuesday evening, 8/25. Let's Go Royals!!
