HSE came out strong and controlled the game from start to finish, putting consistent pressure on Pendleton Heights and keeping much of the action on Pendleton’s half. Bennett Young (14) opened the scoring in the first half, sending the Royals into halftime with a 1-0 lead. HSE kept the pressure on in the second half, playing through a physical, chippy battle. Mason MacEwen (7) added the Royals’ second goal to seal the 2-0 shutout. A great team effort—and a strong showing of the Royals’ depth! Next up: Franklin Central at home — Saturday, August 29!
