The Varsity Royals battled the Noblesville Millers to a hard fought 2-2 tie on Purple Night, raising funds for pancreatic cancer research in honor of Bob White, Coach Chris White's father. The game was aggressive from the start Noblesville struck first but the Royals answered to tie it at 1-1 off a solid PK by Mason MacEwen (7) after he was fouled in the box. The Royals struck again before halftime when Bennett Young (14) delivered a perfect cross to Mason MacEwen (7) who finished to put HSE ahead 2-1 at halftime. The second half was a battle, with the Royals creating several close opportunities. The Millers found the equalizer on a header to make it 2-2.
