The HSE Boys Soccer team started off Sectional Season strong in their first game vs Mount Vernon. Mason MacEwen scored the first goal early in the half off of a near perfect assist from Saint Jafri to go up 1-0. Saint Jafri then found the back of the net himself off of a great lead pass by Sinel Fouegap Ateafac to take the Royals to 2-0. The pattern continues with Sinel Fouegap Ateafac scoring the 3rd goal to finish the first half with a Royals lead of 3-0. The second half continued just as strong. Sinel Fouegap Ateafac found his second goal of the evening with an excellent volley off a rebound in the early minutes of the second half bringing the score to 4-0. Mason MacEwen again found the back of the net for his second goal and the Royals 5th. Sinel Fouegap Ateafac closed the evening out with the last goal and a hat trick for himself. Royals beat Mt. Vernon 6-0. The Boys play next on Thursday, 10/8 at 7pm at Hamilton Southeastern in the Sectional Semifinal vs Muncie Central. Let's Go Royals!
