The deck was stacked against us today, as the weather forced us to face the #2 team in the state on their home turf inside, and we had to wait for this match to start as they didn't have enough courts for both quarterfinals in this section to play at once. Still, we were able to prevail with great play from our boys. While Dilan lost at 3 singles, Abhi won at 1 singles in straight sets to even us back up. Then 1 doubles (Logan and Brady) also won in straight sets just before 2 doubles (Evan and Hudson) had their very close loss. This made it all come down to our 2 singles and Parker. He dominated the first set, had a close second set, but lost in a very close tiebreaker, but then dominated again in the third set to seal the win. We face South Bend St. Joe in the semi-finals tomorrow at 10am at North Central....come out and cheer the Royals to victory.
