The Royals traveled to Kokomo High School on Saturday 10/17 to face the Carroll Chargers for the 2026 Regional Championship game. HSE worked hard to find their rhythm to set the pace of the game throughout the first half but were unable to find the back of the net, despite some very close opportunities. Carroll was able to capitalize off of a perfect top left corner shot and put the first goal on the scoreboard. The half ended 0-1 in favor of the Chargers. Unfortunately, the second half followed in similar fashion with HSE unable to find the equalizer. Despite some late drives and strong effort from the Royals, Carroll scored a second goal bringing the score to 0-2 - which was the final score of the match. The loss brings the exciting post season run from the Royals to an end - finishing as 2026 Regional Finalists - not the ending hoped for but still an amazing and successful 2026 season for these boys!
