The team got off to a slow start shooting and had to battle for a 50 -39 victory. The Royals used a big push to start the third quarter to take a 6 point half time lead to 17 midway through the 3rd quarter. The Irish battled back to within 6 points early in the 4th quarter, but the Royals found a way to earn their 4th victory of the season. Kayla Stidham was on fire from behind the arc making all five of her shots on her way to 15 points. Maya Makalusky had 18 points as she was 10 of 11 from the foul line. while grabbing 8 rebounds. Kayla Brinley dished out 5 assists and had 3 steals. Ant Green had 3 steals to give us a defensive spark. The team travels to Franklin Central on Friday for our first conference game.
