The Lady Royals earned a 66 - 60 victory over Brownsburg to get a conference win. The Royals got off to a hot start to jump out to a 8 point first quarter lead and held a 12 point halftime lead. The Royals shot 60% from the field in the first half and 50% from behind the arc. The Royals built their lead up to 15, but Brownsburg made a push and had a 12 - 0 run late in the 4th quarter to get back within 3. The Royals closed out the game making free throws to move their record to 6 - 0. Maya Makalusky scored a career high 37 points (6 for 10 behind the arc), grabbed 6 rebounds, had 4 steals and 7 deflections. Kennedy Holman had 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Kayla Stidham had 8 points and 4 assists. Addison Van Hoesen, Abby Brown and Maine Hooks gave us great minutes and did all they could to slow down the 6'6 Gordon.
