The Royals went on the road to take on the Avon Orioles. The Royals jumped out to a quick start and had a 10 point lead early in the first quarter. The Orioles made a push towards the end of the first half to get the score with in 6 points at halftime. The Royals started the third quarter with a four point play and never looked back on their way to a 61 - 45 victory. The team had great ball movement and dished out 18 assists on 22 made field goals. The team had a tremendous defensive effort as they held the Orioles 20 points below their scoring average while only allowing them to shoot 34% from the field. Kennedy Holman had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while dishing out 4 assists. Maya Makalusky, who scored the four point play, had 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Kayla Stidham had 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Addison Van Hoesen and Ant Green had 6 points. The team plays cross town rival Fishers on Friday.
