Lady Royals take 3rd! The Medley Relay team of Naomi Haines, Kendall Dieckman, Ellason Miller and Kiley Zoeller are Conference champions, winning the event in a time of 1:46.06. Dieckman placed 4th in the 200 Free, and Zoeller was 1st in the 50 Free followed by Payton Walker placing 6th. Haines placed 3rd in the 100 Fly, Miller placed 6th and Lacey Huston was 7th. Not finished yet, Zoeller took the championship heat of the 100 Free to claim that title as well. Mia Henderson placed 3rd. Dieckman was 3rd in the 500 Free. The 200 Free Relay team of Miller, Haines, Walker and Henderson also placed 3rd. The 100 Back saw Haines with a 2nd place finish and Kelsey Graham with 8th. Jocelyn Graham was 6th in the 100 Breast followed by Kinsey Bogaards in 8th. The night finished with the 400 Free Relay of Dieckman, Henderson, Miller and Zoeller claiming the Conference championship title. Senior diver Zoe Rehm placed 5th overall. Our Royals swim North Central at home on Thursday for Senior Night. Royal Boys take 2nd! The Royal Boys had one of their best HCC showings in years. The Medley Relay team of Jihoon Jung, Collin Huston, Jacob Frey and Derek Robison placed 2nd to Zionsville by just 0.01. Camden Bailey placed 6th in the 200 Free. Jung was the champion in the 200IM with a blistering time of 1:53.22 followed by Huston in 3rd. Robison placed 7th in the 50 Free followed by another championship swim from Jung in the 100 Fly. In the 100 Free, Bailey placed 4th and Robison 7th. Freshmen ruled the 500 Free with Ivan Semko taking 7th and Bryce Salvadori 8th. The 200 Free Relay of Zach Marchisin, Nolan Pugh, Jagger Chan and Bailey placed 4th. Frey placed 3rd in the 100 Back. Huston is the 100 Breast Conference champion, followed by Chan in 6th place and Pugh in 7th. The night ended on a 3rd place finish for the 400 Free Relay team of Jung, Robison, Huston and Bailey. Diver Gavin Tucker placed 5th overall with a score of 398.80. The Royals host North Central next for Senior Night.
