Senior Night Celebrated with Cake and Crushing Victories HSE Girls raced their way to victory over North Central 94-92. Ellason Miller won the 200 Free, Naomi Haines won the 50 Free, and Lacey Huston won the 100 Fly. Freshman Kendall Dieckman finished first in both the 100 Free and 100 Back. Senior Kiley Zoeller won the 100 Breast, and the 400 Free Relay team of Mia Henderson, Dieckman, Miller and Kinsey Bogaards won their event. Other notable swims go to Izzy Schmitt for the 200 Free, Henderson in the 200 IM, and Miller in the 50 Free. Senior diver Zoe Rehm placed 2nd with a score of 185.05. On the JV side, event winners include Anna Irish in the 200 Free, Payton Walker in the 200 IM, Anissa Lammie in the 50 Free, Senior Sophia Croy in the 100 Fly, Lauren Ing in the 100 Free, Camdyn McGuire in the 100 Back, and Sarah Cooper in the 100 Breast. HSE Boys dominated North Central winning 123-57 The all Senior 200 Medley Relay team of Jacob Frey, Jihoon Jung, Derek Robison and Collin Huston won their event despite changing up their order a bit. Nolan Pugh won the 200 Free, and HSE swept the 100 Fly with Huston hitting the wall first, followed by Robison and Alden Sealls. The 100 Free event saw another HSE sweep with Jung coming in first, followed by Camden Bailey and Jagger Chan. HSE also took the top three spots in the 500 Free with freshman Zach Marchisin taking the win followed by Josh Lawrance and Pugh. The 200 Free Relay of Robison, Jung, Bailey and Marchisin came in first, and rounding out the night, Frey won the 100 Back and Huston won the 100 Breast. Joseph Justice took second place in Diving with a score of 98.85. Other notable swims go to Lawrance in the 200 Free, Bryce Salvadori and Ivan Semko in the 200 IM, Bailey in the 50 Free and Chan in the 100 Breast. On the JV side, event winners include Clive Bourff in the 200 Free, Luke Fletcher in the 200 IM, Brody Hayes in the 50 Free, Carter Nelsen in the 100 Fly, Graham Weier in the 100 Free, Aiden Stivers in the 100 Back and Sealls in the 100 Breast. Congratulations to all our HSE Seniors swimming in their final home meet of the season. Next week they are on the road to Zionsville.
