The Royals got off to a great start and held a 17 - 3 lead, but a talented Plainfield fought back to tie it by halftime. The teams traded leads throughout the third quarter with the Royals down 1. The Royals led by 6 late in the 4th quarter, but the Quakers hit a late three to tie the game and send into overtime. The Royals made key plays at both ends with Kayla Brinley knocking down a three with 30 seconds left to give us a one point lead. The Royals used great team defense to not allow the Quakers a shot attempt to earn a 57 - 55 victory. Maya Makalusky had 17 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Kennedy Holman had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Kayla Brinley had 9 points.
