The Royals faced off against Mudsock rival Fishers on Wednesday night. It was all Royals in a decisive 25-1 win over the Tigers. The Royals move to 2-0 on the season thanks in large part to the dominance of Nick Weber and Jackson Joyce at face off X, combining to go 26-3 on face offs. That allowed the Royals offense to consistantly find the back of the net at will. Leading the way for HSE was Senior Max Kemp who tallied (6G, 1A), Junior birthday guy Marcus Laux (5G, 1A) had a night to celebrate. Loyola commit, David Gould added a big night with (4G, 3A, 3GB). Another junior, Jake Kuxhausen was making his presence felt as well with (2G, 5A). JV also defeated Fishers 14-0 to move to 2-0 on the year. Next up for the Royals: Friday vs. S. Oldham (KY) @ HSE *Note: Varsity will be at 6pm, JV game will follow. Saturday vs. Evansville Memorial @ HSE JV at Noon, Varsity following at 2pm.
