Hamilton Southeastern High School

The HSE Freshmen softball team beat Pike on Friday night 28-0 after 4 innings. Chloe Migliore started on the mound for the Royals. She pitched a no hitter with 5 strike outs in only 2 innings. Abby Baumgarten came in and closed the last two innings, striking out 4 batters and only allowing one hit. Offensively, the Royals were led by Ari Castillo who went 3-4 with 7 RBI's and a grand slam. Sophia Lucas, Rileigh Pierce, and Faith Butler all added 3 hits as well. Elli Lindvall, Nadia DeSabatine, and Allison Miller each added two hits, and Maddie Laycock, Kensley Roberts, Halli Turner, and Liyah Hinton each added a hit to the Royals offense.
