The freshmen Royals lost a close game to the Fishers Tigers 6-5 last night. Charlie Fletcher got the start on the mound striking out one batter and only giving up two walks. Chloe Migliore relieved her in the 4th inning giving up only one walk and allowed zero earned runs. Offensively, the Royals were led by Kensley Roberts going 3-for-3 with a walk. Rileigh Pierce was also strong at the plate going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a double. Elli Lindvall and Allison Miller both doubled as well. Sophia Lucas and Faith Butler each added a hit to assist the Royals offense. The Royals will face the Westfield Shamrocks again on Thursday, May 1 at 5:30 pm. Come cheer on the lady Royals!
