Hamilton Southeastern High School

The freshmen Royals softball team beat Westfield 14-4 after 5 innings on Thursday. Elli Lindvall was on the mound for the Royals, retiring 9 Westfield batters and only allowing 2 walks and one earned run. Offensively, the Royals were led by Allison Miller going 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Faith Butler also had a great day at the plate going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Lindvall, Halli Turner, and Rileigh Pierce all went 2-for-4 at the plate as well. Nadia DeSabatine added a hit and an RBI for the HSE offense. The Royals will face the Franklin Central Flashes on Tuesday at home.
