Girls Track wins the HCC meet for the 16th time

The 3rd ranked Girls Track Team won the HCC track meet for the 16th time at Fishers on Tuesday. The team scored 109 points to second place Zionsville with 83. The team had many outstanding performances. Elia Blackmore again won both hurdle races. She set the meet record in the 100 hurdles at 14.28 and a huge personal best of 44.07 in the 300 hurdles. Anissa Lammie also had a record setting night breaking her own school record in the 400 at 55.09 which was also a meet record. She then anchored the 4x400 relay which also set a meet record of 3:53.18. Joining her was Addison Smith, Chloe Senefeld, and Ciara Kepner. The 4x800 relay team of Elizabeth Butler, Anissa Lammie, Anaya Lammie, and Ciara Kepner was also victorious in a time of 9:26.93. Earning runner-up honors was Elizabeth Butler in the 1600, Chloe Senefeld in the 300 hurdles, and the 4x100 relay team of Blackmore, Senefeld, Laila Ehrgott, and Kaleah McCarter. Others that scored points were Kaleah McCarter in the 100 and 200, Catey Campbell in the 1600, Addison Smith in the 400, Ava Powers in the 800, Natalie Arnold in the long jump, EJ Shults in the long jump, Katie Wooden in the shot put, Riley Williams in the pole vault, and Olivia Maynard in the pole vault.
