The freshmen Royals softball team defeated the Franklin Central Flashes 18-0 after five innings last night. Elli Lindvall started out strong on the mound for the Royals, striking out 5 batters in only 2 innings. Charlie Fletcher relieved Lindvall in the 3rd inning and struck out 3 FC batters. Each pitcher allowed only one hit. Offensively, the Royals were led by Faith Butler going 2-for-3 with a walk and 4 RBI's. Kensley Roberts and Allison Miller each went 2-for-3 at the plate. Rileigh Pierce also had a strong day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with 2 RBI's and a double.
