HSE Boys Track & Field Shines at HCC Conference Championship

The Royals brought the heat Thursday night at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship, going toe-to-toe with some of the toughest teams in the state. Hamilton Southeastern finished tied for 5th with 67 points in a stacked field of eight strong programs. Final Team Scores: Avon – 128.5 Brownsburg – 99 Noblesville – 83.5 Franklin Central – 72 Fishers – 67 Hamilton Southeastern – 67 Westfield – 66 Zionsville – 39 The team was led by conference champions in the 200m dash and pole vault. Senior, Christian Ortiz, had a record setting evening in the 200m dash which broke both the school record and the HCC meet record with a blazing time of 21.18. Senior, Evan Senefeld, led the pole vault with a strong jump of 14'0.
