Girls Track places 3rd at Hamilton County Meet

The Girls Track team traveled to Westfield for the Hamilton County meet on Tuesday. The team ended up 3rd in the weather shortened meet behind Carmel and Noblesville. The final 2 events were not contested and will not be made up. Elia Blackmore continued to break records running 14.44 in the 100 hurdles to break the county record previously held by alum Ally Elsbury. Anissa Lammie won the 800 in 2:12.53 just off her own county record from last season. Chloe Senefeld was just hundredths off the county record in the 300 hurdles running 44.24 in her 3rd ever 300 hurdle race. Micaiah Bullock ran a PR in the 100 and 300 hurdles placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Other top 3 finishers were Ciara Kepner 3rd in the 400 dash and Katie Wooden 3rd in the shot put. The team is making final preparations for the state tournament now as they host the IHSAA Sectionals on Tuesday, May 20. Results and splits are attached below
