Royals JV Boys Soccer played an even match with cross county rivals Mt. Vernon for their home opener. There were great plays on the Royals offense that just didn't capitalize. The Royals defense held strong off any attacks. Unfortunately Mother Nature was dominant in this game and it was called in the first half. 0-0.
