Girls Volleyball Varsity vs Warsaw Community High Sch (3 - 1) Win The Lady Royals travelled to Warsaw for the first 2 matches of the season. The Royals won 17-25, 25-15, 25-11, 25-17. The Royals were led by Senior Outside Madi Miles with 12 kills. Merritt Sliwa added 8 kills and Mia Zabel had a breakout performance with 8 kills. Bre Morgan was a strong presence at the net with 5 blocks. Maye McConnell was excellent from behind the serving line with 4 aces. and 15 digs. Jasmine Daniels handed out 16 assists and Maggie Sliwa added 14 of her own. The Royals improved to 2-0. Varsity vs McCutcheon High School Girls Volleyball Varsity vs McCutcheon High School Win 3-0 The Lady Royals opened their season against McCutcheon High School and came away with an impressive 3-0 win. The scores for the match were 25-21, 25-16, 25-22. Madi Miles led all attackers with 12 kills. Merritt Sliwa added 8 kills and Bre Morgan had 7 kills in the middle of the court. Jasmine Daniels was strong defensively with a team high 10 digs and handed out 22 assists.
