The Freshman Royals traveled to Franklin Central on Wednesday evening for their second game of the season. The Royals struck early in the first half with Gavin Miller (#10) sneaking one past the Flashes goalie off of a corner by Paxton Shui (#9). The Royals held onto the lead for the rest of the first half behind the strong play of goal keeper, Mayson Osborne. The match continued as a tense defensive battle with neither team being able to capitalize on multiple scoring opportunities - until Franklin Central tied it up halfway through the second half. The game ended in a 1-1 tie to keep the Freshman Royals undefeated on the season. Next up the Royals play at Lawrence North on Monday, 8/25 (6pm) where they will certainly be hungry for their first "W" of the season.
