The HSE Boys Varsity Soccer team showed up ready to win against Pendleton Heights HS. Both teams played well with both offensive and defensive players battling throughout the first half leading to 0-0 at halftime. Not to be deterred and ready to score, the Royals marched down the field and with an assist from Cooper Perez (#8), Gavin Boyle (#15) took a hard shot that rocketed past the goalie. The Royals continued to press with plenty of opportunities to score and finally connected with a beautiful flick pass from Nick Kestian (#9) to Jose Charris (#5). Charris scored the goal that would lead the Royals to a win at Pendleton Heights.
