The HSE Boys Varsity fell just short in a tightly contested 0-1 loss to Carmel at home during the annual Pink Game. The Greyhounds capitalized on a well-placed direct kick from outside the 18 in the first half to take the lead. Trailing 0-1 at halftime, the Royals came out strong in the second half, creating several quality scoring opportunities but were unable to convert. Despite the setback, HSE finished the regular season with a solid 8-3-5 record. The Royals now turn their focus to the postseason, opening sectional play on Tuesday, October 7 against Pendleton Heights. This year's Boys Sectional Tournament is hosted by Fishers High School.
